Dubewadi is situated 56 kms away from Nashik City. The place is inhabited
by tribes. They don’t even have basic civic amenities like proper drinking water, electricity, primary health center, education, transportation. Considering all these factors a dedicated team was formed under the able guidance and initiative Dr. Shared Patil the decided to devote their precious time for uplift of downtrodden. For this social work no financial assistance is provided either by state/ center govt. or by local bodies. A moral obligation to the society, the doctor themselves are bearing the expenses for medicines, special treatments, transportation and related matters.
Health care center is part of Kalpataru Foundation Since last 4 years a team of Doctors visit Dubewadi, Tal – Trimbakeshwar every Sunday to examine patients for various aliments like eye disorders, Orthopedic, ENT. Dental, pediatric, skin and general physical disorder.
Generally every month 150 patients are examined and treated and special cases are referred for further treatment to the specialist at Nashik City.

EDUCATION AND FOOD
The foundation has adopted 6 children for their further Education after 5th standard. The entire cost of uniform, books, tuition fees, transportation expense is born by us. Also the foundation is concerned about malnutrition of the children, thus started providing then nutritious food like eggs, groundnuts, fruits to the school children at Dubewadi.
Due to illiteracy and poverty, the local population is not aware of personal as well as community hygiene. Due to lack of education awareness & ignorance, the people are superstitious. Now to create awareness among them, we have started mobile Audio – Video informative documentaries to educate them as recreational media. Now are have found great response for this activity and found lot of progress and change in living standard.

FURTHER PLAN
The first aid can not be provided to the suffering masses due to non-availability of basic primary health center, inadequate transport facilities and low soave economic states of the people. The chairman decided to have Ten-bedded hospital in the area itself. For the same the proposal is sent to Govt. of India. This hospital will help to improve the general health and social standard of the concerned masses.

CHARITABLE EYE HOSPITAL
Aim – To provide free of cost eye surgery to the poor patients peripheral area of Nashik city.
Our team experts visit the selected area for preliminary examination and diagnosis. Those who need surgery and treatment are told diagnosis. Those who need surgery and there our staff transport them to the charitable hospital and as per the schedule, they are operated. During their stay in hospital, they are given free medicine space meal, refreshment. After this the patients are transported back to their respective place. For to consult follow up of the treatment again our staff visit them and advise accordingly.
The hospital is situated at Bytco point Nashik Road, 3 km. away from Nashik Road Railway station and the main bus state transport. The built up area of the hospital is 1500 sq ft. consisting of well equipped operations theatre consulting room, refraction, procedure room and having 15 beds for inpatient ward. Also has got basic amenities of toilet, bathroom and backup electrical supply.
We make report with the Lion’s club, Rotary Club, NMC and NGO’s and conduct free eye checkup camps and select at the patient among them who need eye surgery.
During last 2 years examined…… and operated……. With all above activities we try our level best and help the National programmed for Blindness control.
